Bahar Bayramoglu (b. 1987, Kadıköy, İstanbul) is a Berlin-based contemporary painter working primarily with acrylic on canvas. Her paintings evokes the contradictions between different periods in the developmental journey of a person, through her own imagery, blending dreamlike narratives with personal and psychological landscapes.
Through her distinctive visual language, Bayramoğlu employs imagery to examine inner transformations and the layered narratives of identity. Her series Modern Slave and I exemplifies this approach, portraying figures and forms suspended between fantasy and reality, suggesting a delicate balance between chaos and control.
Her work has been featured in group exhibitions including Mea Culpa (2024), Metin Olun (2024), Renk Geyikleri (2025) at 8Arti1 Gallery, and Şattafat (2025) at Azarnegari Art House, Istanbul. Bayramoglu’s paintings are held in various private collections, and her practice continues to examine the evolving nature of identity through vivid compositions.
